Black Forest Cake By Yeast کیک جنگل سیاه

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups all purpose flour
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/3 cup Cacao powder 
  • 100 gr unsalted butter
  • 100 gr dark chocolate
  • 4 eggs
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon instant yeast (or baking powder)
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 500 gr whipping cream for frosting
  • 1 Can red tart cherries for the filling

cup measurement: 1 cup =240 ml

I am using 100 gr of 72 percent cacao dark chocolate,

Melt the butter and chocolate together slowly over very low heat,

add the sugar into the pan,

add the Cacao powder,

pour half a cup of milk, stir all very well over very low heat, turn off the heat, set aside to cool,

Beat the eggs until fluffy,

then pour the mixture in,

Mix well,

add one teaspoon instant yeast (or baking powder),

add 1/4 teaspoon salt,

mix again,

Sift the flour over the top of the batter and stir,

Stir batter until thoroughly mixed,

Cover bowl with plastic wrap and allow it to rest for 2 Hours in a warm place,

Raising the batter,

Preheat the oven to 325 degrees F or 170 degrees C

 Place the wax paper (baking paper) in the bottom of your cake pan,

pour the batter in,

Bake the cake for 50-60 minutes or until a wooden pick inserted into the center of the cake comes out clean,

Check the cake after 50 minutes, while the cake is still in the oven,

I am using a Can red tart cherries for the filling,

and whipping cream,

Using a serrated knife, trim a very thin layer from the cake top, just enough to even out the surface,

Then turn the cake upside down, gently peel the paper off,

Slice each cake in half horizontally,

With a long knife or offset spatula, spread a third of the cream over the top of the cake,

put the red tart cherries over,

Top with the second cake layer,

and evenly spread another part of the cream over the top and around of the cake,

 Garnish the top & sides of the cake with either the Chocolate Curls or the Chocolate sprinkles,

Put some red tart cherries over

The texture of this cake is so soft, moist and light!
