Naan Lavash نان لواش

This bread is traditional and so delicious!

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups wheat flour (or all purpose flour)
  • 1 cup milk (less than one cup) or water
  • 1 tablespoon Honey (or 1 teaspoon sugar)
  • 1 teaspoon instant yeast
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt

In a large mixing bowl, add all the ingredients one by one,

combine very well,

It is time to wash your hand, then knead the dough very well for about 3-5 minutes,

 If the dough sticks to your hands add a little extra flour,

Sprinkle flour over the dough, Cover and let rise for 1 1/2-2  hours in a warm place, or until dough doubles in size,

then knead again,

you will need a small bowl of flour, and a rolling pin,

fist cover the ball by flour, (walnut-sized ball),

roll dough out to thin circles,

cover by more flour if needed,

cast iron crepe pan would be the best choice for baking Naan Lavash,

put the pan on stove and make it warm into hot!

place the shaped dough on the hot pan, then turn the heat into low,

bake on both sides, Do not burn the bread!

  1. Hi Haleh jan,This is such a handy tip! I used my griddle pan to make my lavashes and the bubbling wasn’t as good as yours. I love crepes too, so I have to buy a crepe pan soon!😀 Thanks for the awesome post🙂

    • خوب خمیرش رو وزر دادی؟
      جنس تابه هم خیلی مهمه که حرارت رو توی خودش نگه داره
      باید تابه هم خیلی داغ باشه اولش بعدش برای اینکه نون نسوزه باید شعله رو کم کرد
      دو سه بار که درست کنی دستت میاد
      موفق باشی
