Christmas Butter Cookies بیسکویت کره ای کریسمس

Ingredients:

  • 250 gr all purpose flour
  • 200 gr unsalted butter
  • 150 gr sugar
  • One egg
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Beat the butter, sugar, salt and vanilla together until smooth and creamy,

Mix in the egg,

add sifted flour,

mix very well,

cover in plastic wrap

keep it in fridge for 2 or 3 hours, (or overnight)

Roll the dough out on a lightly floured work surface to a thickness of 1/2 cm. and cut shapes,

carefully place onto the baking sheet on a oven tray

Preheat the oven to 190C/375F/Gas 5

Bake the biscuits for 8-10 minutes, or until pale golden-brown
