Deep fried Shrimp میگو پفکی

*** Deep fried Shrimp is best served immediately ***

Ingredients:

  • 500 gr Shrimp
  • One Cup all purpose flour (100 gr)
  • One egg
  • Half a cup milk (100 gr)
  • One teaspoon Instant Yeast (or baking powder)
  • One teaspoon sugar
  • Half a teaspoon Salt
  • A pinch of Saffron

Beat one egg in a bowl with a fork or whisk it until blended,

pour half a cup of milk,

add one teaspoon sugar,

Half a teaspoon salt,

One teaspoon instant yeast or baking powder

and… a pinch of Saffron

mix well, then sift one cup plain flour into the bowl

combine well

Cover the bowl and put it in a warm place, Yeast batter needs to rise before it’s ready to cook

After 2 hours

Boil the Shrimps for 10 minutes, then Remove heads and shells from them, you can use toothpick and put inside each of shrimps in order to make it easier to eat

place them into the batter

Remove one by one and deep them into the hot oil

fry them both sides until their color becomes golden brown and crisp,

Remove the shrimps and Transfer to paper towels to drain,

Serve tempura immediately!
