Masghati (Starch Fudge or Rosewater-scented pudding) مسقطی شیرازی

Ingredients:

  • One cup Sugar
  • One cup Starch
  • One cup Rose Water
  • One cup Water
  • Half a cup Oil
  • One teaspoon Lemon juice (قاشق مربا خوری)
  • A pinch of Saffron and Cardamom

put one cup of sugar into a pan

pour one cup of water

one teaspoon lemon juice

add a pinch of Saffron, Cardamom

Place the pan over medium heat and bring to a boil,

Dissolve one cup Starch in one cup Rose Water

mix very well

Place the strainer on the pan

Carefully pour the mixture through the strainer into the pan

Pour Half a cup of oil

Mix well,

Stir non stop for about 10 – 15 minutes

Remove from heat and spread by the back of spoon into a Platter, then let it cool for a couple of hours,

Cut “Masghati” into diamond shapes,

 “Masghati” is accompanied by “Rice Cookies” in Shiraz city

  1. سلام ممنون از لطفتون من از رسپیتون استفاده کردم فقط احساس کردم شکرش کمه و نصفه پیمانه اضافه کردم هنوز نچشیدم ببینم چی شد خبرشو میگذارم براتون . نوشتنتون به زبان انگلیسی هم عالیه

  2. مرصی از دستور بسیار ساده و راحت طرز تهیه مسقطی فقط اگر میشه بنویسید حرارت زیرش ملایم باشد یا تند (شدید)
