Roasted melon seeds snack Shiraz Style تخمه طالبی (خربزه) بوداده شیرازی


  • melon seeds
  • lemon juice (around one quarter cup)
  • salt (half a teaspoon)

Remove & Clean Seeds,

rinse them off

spread them out onto a kitchen towel and let them dry,

 the amount of seeds will be gradually increased!

Store seeds in a covered glass jar in the refrigerator,

Place dried melon seeds into a pot,

pour some lemon juice on seeds (around one quarter cup)

add half a teaspoon salt

Roast uncovered over medium heat for about 10 minutes, Stir very well all time

 until seeds are golden-browned all over

Remove from the heat, allow to cool for a couple of minutes, and eat!
