Christmas Roasted Turkey بوقلمون بریان شکم پر

Ingredients:

Turkey, onion, potato, paprika, carrot, walnut, cranberry, coriander, lemon juice, olive oil or Butter, Saffron, salt and pepper

Chop the Vegetables

pour hot water over Saffron, it helps release the aroma and color

put long aluminum foil in a frying pan in two direction like a cross, add chopped vegetabels in the botton, lemon juice, saffron, salt, pepper and 2 cups of water (at the beginning no need too much water, If more water is required then pour some more boiling water)

put the rest of vegetables, walnut and cranberry inside the turkey as much as possible,

rub some olive oil and saffron on the outside of the turkey, Salt and pepper

wrap aluminum foil around the turkey put the frying pan over low to medium heat

(check the amount of water from time to time)

after around one hour turn the turkey onto its other side, rub olive oil, saffron, lemon juice, salt and pepper

wrap again the aluminum foil  around the turkey put the frying pan agin over low to medium heat around one hour

(check the amount of water from time to time)

after around one hour turn off the heat, transfer the whole packed into another pan suitable for oven,

open the aluminum wrapped then turn again the turkey onto its other side, in order to roast it

rub some butter (olive oil) on turkey , a bit salt and pepper

place the uncovered turkey into the oven and roast  for 30-40 min, on the middle shelf of the oven, 350-400 F
